It’s tough to find the perfect chair, especially for demand work environments with multiple users. Follow this simple step-by-step sequence for selecting the ideal chair for your work setting.

STEP 1 – ASSESS THE WORK SETTING

• What is the overall size of your office furniture and space available for your chair?
• The layout of the workstation is important and may impact chair selection. Chair arms may bump into the desk in “L” or “U” shaped workstation layout.
• Study the total ergonomic situation including the placement of computers, cabinets, drawers, and printers to assure a comfortable employee experience.

• Also consider the size constraints of their work environment and the room available for the footprint of the chair. There should be enough room for other employees to sit at their desks or move out of and into the office. Lack of room congests the office and makes it a less effective workplace.
• Determine the frequency and length of use in addition to the look you want to achieve in the work place.

STEP 4 – DECIDE ON A MODEL

Select a particular model from the Domore, Comtrac, or LuxSteel lines.

All models are customizable and offer a variety of adjustable options for seat and back height as well as adjustable arms, adjustable lumbar support, back tension adjustment, and optional seat depth adjustment. Selected models also come with added durability in the form of an added solid bar stock steel arm and back supports, as well as the exclusive Schukra® Lumbar support.

STEP 5 – PICK A TEXTILE GRADE, PATTERN, AND COLOR

STEP 6 – ADD ARMS AND UPGRADES

Scope offers a number of arm options by model including standard arms, adjustable arms (ATI), swing down arms (SDA), and adjustable swing-down arms (ATI-SDA).

Scope also offers chairs with mid-back and high-back flat top (HB-FT) by model. Additionally, all Domore-Lux chairs have the option (for an additional charge) to include Electo-Static Discharged (ESD) protection which blocks the build-up and discharge of static electricity.
